 Genetics is probably a much older science than is generally realised.This is a sketch of a clay tablet dating from about five thousand years ago . The tablet is from Elam (South-eastern Iran)and appears to shows that breeders kept records of desirable traits in their horses .Notice the various types of mane ,as do modern breeders. |
